Is it what it feels like to be dead? Btw. no, most of those three months I spent on doing nothing... if I gathered my strength, I might have finished this in a week or two... but I'm just far too lazy for that So many things on my mind, always distracting me To think I drew my Severus during one day... agh! I must have eaten or drunk something weird...
The face is STUNNAH. And the lips pulling DOES make her look like she's on the verge of crying, and if that's what you were aiming for, it's great! Although her right eye doesn't look scrunched up QUITE enough... but that's okay.
The clothes... jewels... lace... hair. O_O (mindblowing!) Yeah. I agree with Leana-S. You got patience... you got it alright... I mean... GOSH. I would have given up before half the hair's finished. But, this, this looks amazing!
Although the lace seems sort of popping up up a bit irregularly. I think it's the harsh outlines and lines.
You got talent and patience.
I love that pattern you made on her shawl/sleeve. That looks very, very real. Not that the rest of it doesn't.
wow, excellent detail, especially in the hair and of course the outfit, and also the necklace looks so 3-d, to make a drawing like this takes plenty of skill and patience, and you've done it wonderfully, great work

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

All my future wishes

Intricate detailing, indeed, and I totally agree with Ileana-S - the portrait shows the effort and time spent on it.
